How To Jailbreak The iPad 2

EDIT: This was intended to be an April Fools Joke.. and Doesn’t work. BUT, We are working hard to put a real ipad 2 jailbreak together, so stay posted. If you would like to receive an email notification when we have a working ipad 2 jailbreak, leave a comment and say so.

A jailbreak is an iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch hack that allows users to customize, download, and make full use of their device. Jailbreaking your device gives you access to certain apps that are only available in Cydia. It also gives you the chance to “mod” your device. For a complete experience on your Apple device, jailbreaking will do the thing. Here are the simple and easy steps on how to jailbreak your iPad 2:

  1. Make sure your iPad 2 is updated to the new iOS 4.3
  2. Download redsnow for your Mac or PC using these 2 links
  3. Mac: Redsn0w_mac_0.9.6b4.zip
  4. PC: Redsn0w_win_0.9.6b4.zip
  5. Make sure your iPad 2 is off and plugged into your Mac or PC
  6. Open redsnow and click install cydia
  7. After you hit the next button, redsnow’s guide will walk you through the processing [...]

How To Watch TV On The iPad Or iPad 2

MobileTV Elite Watch TV On iPad

Finally,

you have a TV viewing device which is not too small like cell phones nor too big to be unportable, the iPad! The iPad is much lighter than your average TV and is quite portable too. By the end of this article you will know how to never miss your favorite show again even if you are far away from a TV. With a stupendous battery life of ten hours you can quite easily take it with you to remote places where you’d get no electricity for quite sometime. Other than that it will also be helpful in places where you can’t jam in a TV. It would feel quite weird to put your TV in the bathroom for example, but I am sure you wouldn’t think twice before taking your iPad with you. No longer will you have to hold on as long as a critical scene ends or until the commercial break.

Also you have the reverse advantage of being able to watch iPad videos on a larger screen like your TV. The other alternative to a TV is your laptop. But, then most laptops are much bigger than the iPad and not nearly as portable. True, there are smaller ones but they are mired with a lot of speed issues and tend to make your lap very hot. The iPad cleanly beats the laptop in all the above ways. The 9.7-inch screen is about the optimal size for watching TV without being like a fixed station. The last thing that people sometimes use is their smart-phones but honestly that’s just a farce. Cell phones are just too small to make for an enjoyable TV watching experience. [...]

When Can I Buy the iPad 2?

Match 11 is the day the second-generation iPad was launched. Judging on the eve of the release of the current iPad and its subsequent sales, iPad 2 has all the signs of long lines during launch day. Waiting in line would however be much shorter if one goes with other retailers other than just any Apple Store. The truth is, a good number of retailers have already hinted of availability on March 11, as much as that is the launch day.

The most unfortunate thing however is that not even one retailer has shown acceptance of pre-orders. Nonetheless, you can be at the helm of the line come March 11. Best Buy’s through their site confirm iPad 2 will be available from the first day while Walmart has it already listed online. However, it is wise to call every store individually simply to confirm the availability. There is also an indication on the Verizon website iPad 2 will be available for sale from March 11 while AT&T are yet to communicate on the availability of the iPad in their stores.

Saving Money through iPad 2 Insurance or Warranties

As the new generation iPad 2 comes into the market, it is obvious that an iPad 2 is not a very cheap device and insurance is aptly important just like in any other expensive electronic device at home, where replacement would require a lot of money.

Save 20% on an iPad Warranty

iPad 2warranties and insurance come handy in many ways and you should visit a site that allows you to get the cover that fits your needs. No matter what kind of iPad you have, the idea is to be covered just in case of accident or damage to the tablet. A warranty and insurance cover you in case the device is broken, stolen or lost.

The iPad is not cheap in terms of cost. The warranty that comes with the device could only be covering defects that arise within the device but not loss as a result of accident or theft.  Depending on the device type, you can part with a minute premium that will cater for the iPad insurance. Understand what will happen in case something has happened to the tablet after paying the insurance. Also, comprehend the procedure of claiming and any deductible that might follow a claim. The deductible in this case is a small fraction of the actual cost of replacement. In case of previous claims on iPad insurance coverage, it is most likely that you could be paying more since the provider will deem you accident-prone.
