This could be one of the strange news pieces that you would come across on this day. Most of us would perceive that they can buy as many gadgets of a type from a vendor. However, not anymore!
Apple truely is a game changer in a lot of ways. One can only buy 2 iPad’s in their lieftime. That has been the limit viz. imposed by Apple. However, the exact reasons are still unsure of. And on fact such limitations are unheard of in telecom market which aims to cater to mass. So if you are planning to buy an iPad for yourself and ship one to your family in other continent, think about it as it will be your last chance to buy an iPad!!!

Surely this should be dated April 1st, rather than the 23rd. Just in case the author isn’t joking, please consider how Apple (or anyone else) could possibly enforce such a limit. Or why.

This caused so much controversy that Apple had to change its policy. Another example of Apple’s “Big Brother Closed Shop” mentality, it went hand in hand with its refusal to accept cash payments. It all had something to do with protecting markets….
Thankfully both policies have now been changed. You can turn up to an Apple store with a fist full of dollars and buy yourself an iPad. Since you’ll be paying with cash, Apple can’t monitor your purchase so there’s nothing stopping you doing the same thing every month for a year if you wish. Mind you, there’d really be no point. The iPad roll out is well underway, so the chances are your cousin in Italy can also walk down his High Street, hand over the Euros and buy an iPad for himself!
