The Worth Ave group has stepped in as the third part insurance services provider for the iPad. In as little as $45 it can provide risk coverage against theft, spillage of liquid on iPad, damage due to free fall on to the ground, flood and from lightning strikes. However, smart clause suggests that in case of nuclear war or in cases where iPad goes missing mysteriously the insurance cover will not be provided. For the 64GB 3G model the premium is close to $80.
