Want to learn how to send text messages with your iPad? The Textie app allows you to send text messages from the iPad. There are a few problems with the Textie app, but first let me tell you why this app is great.
The overall look and feel of the interface is amazing, and by far the best texting experience around.
Once you download Textie, you register it by tying it to an email or phone number. Once the app is loaded, you simple go to your address book, click on their email or phone number, and start texting away. If they have the Textie app installed they will receive the message in Textie, if not they will either get the text message or an email. This app is great if you want to learn how to send text messages with your… ipad. There are some problems with this app though. For some reason people with T-Mobile or Sprint don’t always receive the text messages, but overall we recommend this app as a free way to send text messages with your ipad.

- Works best when texting with someone else who has the Textie app.

- Difficult to get messages to people on the T-Mobile or Sprint network.
