The Hulu+ App is designed for and in hopes of acquiring more Hulu+ members, but upon downloading the free app [iTunes link], you are allowed a limited selection of shows that would be a delight if you were say sitting in a Doctors office.
Their sell is of course the subscription of $9.99 a month, easily competing with Netflix; who offer a similar idea but with slightly different execution.
With full catalog season access to shows like
- 30 Rock • The Office (US & UK)
- American Dad • Peep Show
- Family Guy • Parks and recreation.
- Heroes My name is earl • Ugly Betty
As well as a boat load of single season, limited season, and current season line ups not available without the $9.99 membership. If you’re a TV Junkie or even asking whether you should continue to pay for cable and use a desktop or like device to put up netflix & hulu you’d be making a smart choice for seemingly $20 a month you have 2 giant libraries at your fingers tips, current line ups, and historical seasons as well as a unimaginable biblioteque just for movies.
Is it worth it alone? The answer depends on your liking of the complete line up. This is of course just the start, as Hulu adds custom and original content all the time.

It’s available for iPad, Touch, and iPhone though it requires OS 3.2 or later
