Hello again, this tutorial is short and sweet. I’ll even throw in a quick method to transfer screenshots or photos from the iPad to your computer.

Start by Navigating your iPad over to Cydia. Generally Cydia will load up it’s resources for any new info, either way continue on to the search; the bottom right menu option.
Type in ‘Netatalk‘
It should pop up alone when fully written out, select it, and install the bugger.
Return to Cydia and go to the homescreen. lastly, Turn off and turn your iPad back on, make sure not to hard reset it, go through the entire motion of turning it off and back on again. Patience is a virtue.
Upon restart you attention should now be focused on your CPU, which should also be on the same WiFi network as your iPad. Open up your Finder window (or whatever the Windows equivalent and navigate to the network area. You should see your iPad.

hey look it's my iPad
You’ll need a username and password to connect to it like this and thankfully it’s rather simple. “Root” is the username and “alpine” is the password. I don’t think the username is case sensitive but the password is. You can change this later as well as anyone else who knows the process might be well aware some users are too lazy to change it. Check for that separate article HERE [link to come]
You know have access to the file system on your iPad!!
IF you like to also learn to pull screen shots, continue reading!
The file system can be confusing and it’s a bit of a revolving door really, entering one could potentially lead you in a infinite loop. However the correct location of the images held in the photo library of the iPad are found easiest by navigating through Root > Var > Mobile > Media > DCIM > XXXApple (or server: afp://Root User’s iPad._afpovertcp._tcp.local/root/var/mobile/Media/DCIM/100APPLE)

After finding your images, all that’s left to do is decide which you want to pull and what you’d like to do with them.
